Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Product Manager you’ll:

  • Support the development and execution of the card product vision & strategy within our issuing business in India, aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Assist in prioritizing product features and enhancements based on market requirements, customer feedback, and business goals.
  • Maintain and contribute to the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with near- & medium-term business objectives.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, risk, marketing, and other product teams, to support a coordinated product strategy and successful launches.
  • Support the definition and scoping of new product ideas leveraging internal technology and external vendor solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product decisions.
  • Assist in ensuring a seamless customer experience by supporting the smooth functioning of automated and manual processes.
  • Take ownership of business metrics and product KPIs while working closely with stakeholders.
  • Work with the finance team during quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Contribute to revenue growth by supporting the development and delivery of product features, improving product efficiencies, and enhancing customer experience.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5+ years of experience in payments product management, ideally in the cards domain, with experience working with agile/scrum delivery teams.
  • Good understanding of payments and connectivity, particularly card payments, with experience in fintechs or banks.
  • Knowledge of card payments processing, transaction handling, and card integrations is preferred.
  • Passion for product management, with a focus on customer experience and best-in-class product research and development practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and collaborate effectively.
  • Familiarity with card payment scheme rules and regulations and ability to understand risk implications of card products.
  • A proactive "can-do" attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels
